Nina's boyfriend

Nina and Nick are in love...she would not stop watching this video and
cries when they leave each other. Nick always gives Nina hugs and well,
let's just say he doesn't quite understand personal space yet. Here
they are playing jumping bean in Nick's crib. Let's just hope they
don't do this as teenagers!
Christmas...

We had a great Christmas and Nina got over her first ear infection just in time to fly to Michigan to spend time with Nana and Gramps. We had so much fun at Oma and Pop-pop's house x-mas eve, but had to leave a bit early since Nina was not feeling well. She got a bike and a basketball hoop, both of which she loves and was mad if we had to move onto the next thing. We also had a great time at the great-grandmas' houses on x-mas day. Nina was a ham and loved playing with Huck at Grandma rose's house. It was a big day and she luckily slept the whole fligth to Michigan along with dad. She was wild in the airport before boarding and ran out all her energy. In Michigan, we had so much fun with all of our friends and with Nana and gramps who bought out the used children's store so Nina would have some toys to play with while visiting. Very proud grandparents! Nina also learned important new skills such as the Chicken Dance and went swimming in her onesie since we forgot swimsuits. It was a great trip. She is happy to be back where it is warm. At one point during the trip she said "outside?" over and over and finally brought us shoes, coats and anything else to give a hint. She wasn't so happy once she was finally outside and couldn't put her arms down since she was so bundled up!
Nina loves noodles and dressed for the beach...

Nina finally learned how to such noodles and she thinks it is hysterical. She loved vietnamese rice noodles and then transferred the skill to spaghetti. Very proud of herself for sure. Here is a picture of our day at the beach. She looks more ready for Tahoe than the ocean but welcome to Northern California! She had a blast and loved watching Sasha run. She wasn't so sure about walking on the sand though.
Academy of Science and fun at the health fair

We had a great time hanging out with David and Margot at the Academy of Sciences. The girls loved to look at the fish and even touched starfish and sea cucumbers. We also discovered the toddler playroom which was a big hit and couldn't have come at a better time in the day. Let's just say that they were both very tired of the stroller. We are really enjoying the membership from Oma and Pop-pop. Nina could hang out in the aquarium all day if we let her. Nina also got to be the Ah Shayh! baby at the Health fair in Sebastopol and hung out with Mina and Celeste at the booth. Later that day, she played mama to one of her baby dolls. I remeber when I could hold her like that!
Thanksgiving

We had a great Thanksgiving with friends and family despite Nina having a bit of a cold. She enjoyed playing with her cousin Megan and Huck and riding on Grandpa's tractor. The food was great as usual and we want to thank Oma and Pop-pop for putting on a fantastic Thanksgiving once again. NIna also had a chance to visit with Uncle Devin and Aunty Brittany visiting from Seattle.
