Celebrating Adoption Party

This year Pat and I worked with the attorney who helped us find Nina to host a Summer Party for families formed by adoption in Sonoma County. About 60 people came and it was a big success! Lots of people met each other and everyone had a good time. Thanks Pat for your help and Susan for all the support and funding. Hopefully, we were also able to get the word out about the new foundation that Susan has started called On Your Feet Foundation to help birthmoms regain their strength and support after placement. It is a great program and one that we hope continues to grow. Here is a picture of Nina and Cybele with Nate at the party.

Nina and Lillian have fun at Traintown

Our friends Roger, Cindy and Lillian came up for a fun day at Train Town in Sonoma. Despite blazing hot temperatures, the girls had fun riding all the big train and all the smaller ones too. Nina is finally getting over her pony ride trauma and is now riding the carousel and other statue type rides. We have yet to re-try the real thing. That might wait til she is older:) Here's a picture of the girls riding a horse and carriage.
