Adoption Finalized!

Our adoption was finalized on March 14th, 2008 at the courthouse in Sonoma County. It was an exciting day and very special for all of us. We feel so honored that Nina's birthmom chose us to be her parents. We love our daughter with every inch of our hearts and are so happy to have her in our lives. It definitely takes a village to raise a child and we are so thankful to everyone who has helped us so far and for your dedication to continue to be mentors, friends and family to us and Nina.

Egg hunt!

Nina had her first egg hunt on Easter Sunday at Cindy and Roger's house in San Jose. Cindy and Kristy hid the candy and goodies while Roger, Lillian, Nate and Nina found them. Here is a picture of Nate and Nina with one of their successful finds. Here is a link to more pictures of the Easter weekend events as well as other fun pics from February and March.

Bathtime fun!

Nina and Lillian shared a bath over the Easter weekend and had fun hanging out in the tub. It was a busy weekend with visits to both Great-grandma Bev and Rose as well as Uncle Devin and Aunty Brittany's wedding reception. Nina was so mellow and loved being passed around to people. She also liked her first serving of tortellini. She is loving eating real food!

Nana visits!

Nana came to visit for 2 weeks and we had so much fun! Here I am with both my Grandmas. I loved being spoiled by two grandmothers at the same time. We all had so much fun going to the coast, hanging out in San francisco and introducing Nana to all of our friends and family. Here is a link to more photos of Nana's trip.

Weekend at the Cabin

We had a great time hanging out with Andrew, Natasha and Anya at the cabin. The girls are only a week apart and are the same size which is not the case with many of Nina's friends:) Here is a picture of them in their matching onesies. This is the same picture we took when they were only 6 weeks old.

First Ski trip

We went to Tahoe in February to celebrate Kristy's and Shugri's birthdays. Nina loved the snow (so did Sasha) and we all had fun throwing snowballs, skiing and sledding. It was a great trip and we can't wait to go again. To see more pictures, check out this link
